Goa is all geared up to host the second edition of The Spirit of Goa Festival 2019 from April 26 to 28. The Goa Tourism Department will be organising this three-day festival in association with the Goa Feni Distillers and Bottlers.
If you have been planning a trip to Goa for a long time, you now have the option to time it during this event, which will offer you more avenues to explore. The festival will revolve around Goa’s much loved cashew and coconut in a variety of cuisine, products and handicrafts, thereby allowing you to explore the traditional aspects associated with this produce including home-grown spirits, which will range from local beverage, Feni, homemade wines, liquor and more.
The Spirit of Goa Festival 2019 will also host a variety of entertainment programs, competitions and workshops, which will be scheduled with loads of surprises and prizes to enthral the visitors. Those participating in the event will even get the opportunity to be a part of live demos and understand how Feni is prepared by distilling cashew juice. Apart from Goan cuisine, visitors will also be able to relish other beverages and food items.
A cashew stomping competition will be organised in the festival along with cooking demos and master classes, which will conducted by well-known professions like Karl Fernandes and Tiz Martins. Not just this, the festival will host musical events that will showcase large-format ensembles, which were never seen on stage before.
